Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make grated cottage cheese pie? Prepare the products. First to prepare the dough. Take the butter of the best quality, corresponding to GOST. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it softens. The fat content of cream can be any.
Step 2:
Prepare the dough. How to make dough? Take a large bowl and sift the flour into it. This will not only remove the garbage, but also saturate the flour with oxygen, which will make the dough more lush and airy.
Step 3:
Add baking powder to the flour and mix it well. Beat in the eggs, having previously washed and dried them with napkins. Add butter, sugar, and pour in the cream.
Step 4:
Knead the dough, first with a spoon and then with your hands. Kneading it is not difficult at all, the dough will quickly cease to be sticky and will gather into a lump.
Step 5:
Divide the dough into two parts, wrap them in foil or put them in bags. Put the dough in the freezer for 30 minutes. It should harden and then grate it will be much easier.
Step 6:
While the dough is cooling, do the filling. Prepare the products for her. Cottage cheese is suitable for any fat content, the main thing is that it is of high quality, without milk fat substitutes. Also take any cream.
Step 7:
How to make the filling? Put the cottage cheese, cream and sugar in a bowl. If desired, you can add vanilla to the filling in any form.
Step 8:
Punch the cottage cheese with sugar and cream with an immersion blender until smooth, pasty. If you don't have a blender, then rub the cottage cheese through a sieve before adding sugar and cream. In any case, the filling of mashed cottage cheese is much more tender and tastier, do not skip this step.
Step 9:
Take a baking dish. It can be of any shape or of any material. I have a round, detachable, 20 cm in diameter. Line the mold with baking paper. I covered only the bottom, as I have a non-stick coating. With paper, it will be easier to get a pie. Remove one portion of dough from the freezer. Grate the dough on a coarse grater directly into the mold. It will be more convenient to do this by holding the dough with your hand in the bag.
Step 10:
Spread the grated dough evenly over the bottom of the mold. Don't tamp it down too hard. Grated pie is good precisely because its dough looks like a large crumb.
Step 11:
Put the curd mass on a layer of dough, level it with a spoon. On top of the cottage cheese, you can put any additives — raisins, chopped chocolate, berries, jam.
Step 12:
Take out the second part of the dough, similarly grate it on a grater. This time it's better to rub on the board. Transfer the grated dough to the cottage cheese, forming the top layer.
Step 13:
Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C (I have an electric oven, top-bottom mode), 30-40 minutes. The top should turn red. Remove the finished cake from the oven and cool completely. Then remove from the mold and cut into portions.
Step 14:
Serve the pie with tea or coffee, you can additionally decorate it with berries and mint leaves. Bon appetit!
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
