Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make potato casserole with minced meat and mushrooms in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse. Minced meat can be from any kind of meat. I have pork. Mushrooms can also be taken to your taste. It can be champignons, oyster mushrooms or, like me, boiled forest mushrooms. I keep these mushrooms boiled in the freezer. If necessary, it is enough to simply defrost them.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Fry the chopped onion together with the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes. During frying, the juice will stand out from the mushrooms. Wait for it to evaporate and the mushrooms begin to fry a little. Add a little salt to the mushrooms.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Fry the minced meat in another pan. The minced meat will change color and the juices will evaporate from it. To taste, add a little salt and spices to the minced meat.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Combine the fried mushrooms with minced meat together.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Wash tomatoes, cut in half and remove the stalk. Cut 2 tomatoes into pieces. Chop the washed greens. Add tomatoes and herbs to the bowl to the minced meat and mushrooms. Add a little garlic passed through the press. Mix everything together.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Any heat-resistant mold is suitable for baking. I will use ceramic. Lubricate the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Cut the potatoes into slices and spread evenly over the bottom of the mold.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Spread the whole mushroom filling with meat on top. Lubricate the surface with sour cream.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cut the remaining tomato into slices and spread over the surface of the casserole. Sprinkle cheese on top, grated on a grater. Place the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30 minutes. All the ingredients are almost ready, and the potatoes at the very bottom will have time to bake during this time.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Remove the finished casserole from the oven and serve it hot. Enjoy your meal!

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !

Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which one is better not to use at all, read here .

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
