To begin with, we will prepare all the necessary ingredients for making crackers. We use stale bread (preferably). You can also cook from fresh bread. But it turns out to be tastier already from the old. We cut the bread into pieces of any shape, be it cubes, large pieces of bread, straws. I cut the bread into small cubes. Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. At this time, we will prepare fragrant oil for the crackers.
When the bread is sliced, proceed to the next step, namely, take a small deep container and pour the necessary amount of vegetable oil and water into it. Now add spices, ground paprika and garlic cloves, crushed with a garlic press, and add a little salt. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. (Note: you can add any spices to your liking, but I strongly recommend adding garlic in any case. It makes crackers especially fragrant). Let the oil infuse for 10-15 minutes so that it absorbs the aromas of all the spices.
We send the crackers to the preheated oven for 5 minutes, laid out on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
We take a plastic bag (preferably it should be tighter). We take a spoonful of oil and distribute the fragrant oil along the bottom of the package and its sides. Then we spread some bread, take another spoonful of butter and pour it over the bread, put the next portion of bread and so on until the bread and butter run out. Now we close the package in such a way that there is a lot of air left inside, and it moves freely through the package. We shake the bag well and turn it over so that the bread cubes evenly absorb the oil. Then we put the bread out of the bag on a baking sheet, which we send back to the oven. We continue to cook the crackers for another 20 minutes at a temperature of 160 ° C.
We take the finished crackers out of the oven and cool them at room temperature. We put the cooled crackers with spices in a container and serve them to the table. And crunch…
