Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary products. Take fresh broccoli, the head should be bright green and elastic to the touch. Of course, you can take frozen cabbage, but in this case it should be well defrosted and drained of all the liquid. Use large eggs, preferably homemade, at least with. Homemade eggs differ not only in size, but also have a brightly colored yolk, which will give the finished dish a beautiful color.
Step 2:
Wash the cabbage very well - a lot of dirt accumulates in the small inflorescences, so pay special attention to the process of washing the cabbage. Cut the stalk and divide the cabbage into inflorescences of the desired size. Do not leave them too big - it is necessary that it is still convenient to eat a ready-made dish!
Step 3:
Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt, add chopped cabbage and boil for 2-3 minutes. Do not cook for a long time - all the benefits are contained in raw and semi-raw cabbage.
Step 4:
Drain the water, put the cabbage on a sieve and hold it under cold running water. This procedure is necessary to preserve the bright green color of cabbage.
Step 5:
Prepare a heat-resistant mold for cooking our dish. Lay out the cabbage. Keep in mind that if dishes tend to stick to your shape, then pre-lubricate the mold with a small amount of vegetable or butter.
Step 6:
Beat the eggs lightly with a fork.
Step 7:
Add salt. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices and seasonings to the egg mass. For someone, just ground pepper or paprika will be enough, and someone will decide to flavor it with garlic powder, Provencal herbs or fenugreek. Or maybe you decide to add fresh herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro) or a clove of fresh garlic or onion.
Step 8:
Add half of the grated cheese to the egg mass. Cheese can be any: hard, semi-hard, and even with mold. Mix it up.
Step 9:
Pour the resulting mass of cabbage.
Step 10:
Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. The eggs should be cooked and keep their shape well, and the cheese should melt.
Step 11:
Serve the dish hot. Bon appetit!
