Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake a snail pie from lavash with minced meat in the oven? Prepare the products. Take any minced meat, beef, pork, and chicken will do. You can put any favorite spices in it. I put sweet paprika and black pepper.
Step 2:
Peel and chop the onion. You can just cut it, you can punch it in a blender, I grated it. If you like, then lightly fry the onion in vegetable oil. Add the onion and spices to the minced meat.
Step 3:
Mix the minced meat until smooth. Since I was grating the onion, a lot of juice was formed. And after mixing, the minced meat became juicy. If the minced meat turned out to be dry, then I advise you to add a little water, so it will be easier to smear the minced meat on the pita bread.
Step 4:
How to roll a minced Snail? To begin with, cut the pita bread sheets into halves.
Step 5:
Spread the minced meat over the pita bread so that it evenly covers the entire sheet.
Step 6:
Roll the pita bread into a tube on the larger side.
Step 7:
Roll up all the halves in the same way. It will turn out four rolls.
Step 8:
Take a suitable round shape. I have 20 cm in diameter, detachable. Lubricate the sides and bottom of the mold with vegetable oil.
Step 9:
Put the pita bread rolls into the mold, starting from the center, twisting them in a spiral.
Step 10:
For filling, grate the cheese on a fine grater. Add eggs and sour cream to it.
Step 11:
Mix the mixture until smooth.
Step 12:
Pour the cake with the resulting mass. If you, like me, have a detachable mold, then I advise you to wrap it with foil, since the filling may leak. I didn't have any foil, I put the cake mold on the bottom from another mold, larger in size.
Step 13:
Bake the pie in the oven at 180-200 ° C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top. Calculate the exact time and temperature according to the model of your oven! Cool the finished cake a little and serve it on the table, cut into pieces like a cake.
I've tried pies with pita bread before, I really like them - fast, simple, delicious. I advise you to take thin pita bread, they become very tender when baking.
Lavash is a very versatile product. You can eat it as bread or cook various snacks from it. And not only cold. It is great for pies - after baking it becomes like a thin puff pastry.
How to choose the right pita bread? First of all, look at the date of manufacture on the package. Do not take expired pastries. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Take a good look so that there are no stains and signs of mold on it.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
