Step 1:
How to bake fish in the oven with carrots and mayonnaise? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For this recipe, you can use fillets of any fish. It can be cod, like mine, pollock, hake, pink salmon or any other that you like. If the fish is frozen, then take it out of the freezer in advance and leave it to thaw at room temperature. Do not immerse the fish in hot water. This will make it dry.
Step 2:
Soak the thawed fish fillet with paper towels to remove excess moisture from it. Cut the fish into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Lemon will remove such an intrusive fishy smell. Sprinkle each piece of fish with a little salt and spices for the fish. Keep in mind that there will also be mayonnaise in the dish, which will add a little more salt to the dish.
Step 3:
Put the fish pieces in a baking dish. The form can be glass, ceramic or metal. Peel the onion and carrot and rinse. Chop the onion, and rub the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 4:
Spread the chopped onion evenly over the fish, and then the carrots. In a separate glass, mix mayonnaise with water and pour over the fish.
Step 5:
Spoon a layer of mayonnaise over the entire surface of the carrot. Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-45 minutes. When baking, be guided by your oven.
Step 6:
There will be enough liquid in the fish during baking. But there will be almost none left in the finished dish. And the dish itself will become an appetizing golden color. Remove the mold from the oven and place the fish on a plate.
Step 7:
The finished fish with onions and carrots turns out very tasty. A side dish of mashed potatoes or boiled rice is perfect for it. Bon appetit!
