Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
It is important which potato you will use. If it is a young potato, then it should first be washed very well under running water with a brush or sponge. If you have mature potatoes, then it should be peeled.
Step 2:
It is better to choose tubers of approximately the same size so that the potatoes are evenly baked in the oven. Cut each potato into 4 pieces.
Step 3:
Grate the parmesan on a fine grater.
Step 4:
Shake the egg until smooth, add a pinch of salt, as well as add allspice and garlic powder if desired. Mix well again.
Step 5:
Wash and dry the greens (parsley was used in the recipe) with paper napkins. Chop as finely as possible and add to the cheese. Sprinkle with red ground sweet pepper (if you are a fan of spicy, then add a pinch of chili pepper). Mix everything again.
Step 6:
Dip each potato slice in the egg first.
Step 7:
Then in a plate with cheese and herbs.
Step 8:
Line the baking tray with baking paper. Put the potato quarters at a distance from each other on the side (as in the photo). Cover the sheet with foil and send it to a preheated oven. Bake at a temperature of 180-200 degrees on the "top-bottom" mode for about 40 minutes.
Step 9:
After the specified time, remove the foil. Change the mode to "grill" or turn on convection, leave the potatoes in the oven until the cheese takes a crust. It will take about 10-15 minutes. You can check the readiness of potatoes with a toothpick.
Step 10:
Serve potatoes, garnished with herbs.
Potato slices with parmesan are incredibly delicious and fragrant. Even in cold form, they will serve as an excellent option for a snack.
From greens, you can use young green onions, fresh basil, dill or parsley. Provencal herbs are also perfectly combined with cheese.
