Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake pork ribs with apples in the oven? Prepare everything you need. If you have ribs from the freezer, then they should be pre-thawed at room temperature. The dish will turn out many times tastier from fresh meat that has not been frozen. The number of apples can be increased at will. Peel the garlic from the husk.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Rinse the ribs and cut them into portions.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

In a saucepan, send honey, mustard, a couple of bay leaves, salt to taste and your favorite spices. Dry rosemary, basil, a mixture of ground peppers, etc. are perfect. Also squeeze the juice of one medium-sized lemon.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Send the saucepan to the stove. While stirring, dissolve all the ingredients until smooth.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour the marinade over the ribs. Pass one clove of garlic through the press and also send it to the meat.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix everything thoroughly so that each piece of pork ends up in a fragrant marinade. Cover with plastic wrap and leave at room temperature for at least an hour. The longer the ribs are marinated, the tastier they will turn out. I usually leave it overnight in the refrigerator.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Wash and dry the apples. Which apples are better to take? Fruits of sweet or sweet-sour varieties are well suited. Cut into large slices. In a deep small bowl, send the apples and the remaining garlic. Lightly add salt, pour vegetable oil and sprinkle with dry spices. Mix everything well.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Send apples with garlic to the baking dish.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Put the pickled ribs on top. Place the mold in a preheated oven and bake until ready. How much and at what temperature should the ribs be baked? The time depends entirely on the capabilities of your oven. I baked on the top-bottom mode at a temperature of 220 degrees for about an hour. At the end of cooking, I turned on the "convection" mode and left the ribs for another 10 minutes. During the baking process, open the oven 2-3 times and pour the resulting juice over the meat.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Juicy ribs with apples are ready! Garnish with fresh herbs.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

    Serve exclusively hot.

The dish is incredibly easy to prepare. It is perfect as the main dish for any holiday.

Delicious ribs will complement potatoes, salads and boiled rice.

Bon appetit!

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.

Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
