Step 1:
How to bake ham with apples in the oven in a sleeve? Prepare all the necessary products that are specified in the recipe. You can use only the hips or only the shin, or you can divide the legs into two parts. If necessary, scorch the chicken to get rid of the remaining feathers and wash thoroughly. Dry the hams with paper napkins to remove excess moisture.
Step 2:
Wash the apples, dry them and cut them into slices. Which apples are better to take? The fruits of sweet and sweet-sour varieties are ideal for the recipe. I use sweets more often. Send the hams and fruits to a deep container.
Step 3:
Peel the onion and garlic from the husk. Rinse and dry. Cut the onion into large feathers, and the garlic cloves in half or into quarters. Send it to the chicken with apples. Add salt to taste and all the spices. A set of seasonings can be absolutely anything. Dry rosemary, a mixture of Provencal herbs, black and red ground peppers are well combined in the dish. You can use a ready-made mixture for baking poultry.
Step 4:
Pour in the odorless vegetable oil and mix everything thoroughly. Leave this way for 10-15 minutes. Then mix everything again and spread it evenly in the baking sleeve. Make a few punctures with a toothpick in the sleeve. This will allow hot air to escape when baking. Send the sleeve to the sheet, and then into the oven. Bake until the hams are fully cooked.
Step 5:
Next, carefully cut the top of the sleeve (be careful not to get burned!), send it to the oven for another 5-10 minutes to brown the top. Done, serve hot!
The cooking time and temperature completely depend on the capabilities of your oven. I baked on the "top-bottom" mode for about 40 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees, then cut off the top of the sleeve and baked for another 5 minutes, changing the mode to "convection".
Offer fresh vegetables, salads or winter preparations such as: salted or pickled vegetables, lecho, etc..
