Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For marinating chicken, you can use any of your favorite spices, I usually use chicken seasoning. Wash the chicken, dry it with towels. We prepare the marinade: to do this, mix sour cream with chicken seasoning and salt. First add one seasoning, seasonings from different manufacturers may be more or less salty, try the marinade, it should be a little salty, if necessary, add salt to taste.
Step 2:
My seasoning is not very salty, I added a teaspoon of salt. Mix the marinade well. Rub the chicken carcass with the finished marinade and leave it on the table to marinate for 40-45 minutes. While the chicken is marinating, let's start cooking potatoes. Potatoes are cleaned, washed, cut in half and fried in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown, do not forget to add salt during frying.
Step 3:
Put the fried potatoes in a bowl and let it cool. We put the marinated chicken in a form in which we will bake it and stuff it with fried potatoes.
Step 4:
Put the rest of the potatoes next to the chicken, pour out the whole marinade, cover with foil and send it to a preheated 180 degree oven for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake the chicken for another 30-40 minutes. We serve the finished chicken to the table.
Step 5:
Chicken baked with potatoes in the oven is ready! Enjoy your meal!
In order for the chicken baked in the oven to turn out really tasty, juicy and appetizing, it is necessary to choose the right carcass, and compliance with the temperature regime and cooking time, and a competent choice of accompanying ingredients. When choosing dishes for baking, try to find a cast-iron or ceramic mold. Such dishes are heated gradually and evenly, which will eliminate the possible burning or uneven baking of poultry meat. However, both metal and glass baking pans are also suitable, but they will require a more attentive attitude to the temperature regime due to the tendency to burn.
