Step 1:
How to bake classic homemade chocolate cookies? Prepare the products for making cookies. Take out the butter and egg in advance so that they become room temperature. It is better to take fine sugar or powdered sugar. Very little salt, a few crystals. Egg size C1.
Step 2:
In a deep bowl, sift flour, baking powder, cocoa, salt and mix everything. Since the cookies are chocolate, special attention should be paid to the quality of cocoa.
Step 3:
In another bowl, beat the egg with sugar to a fluffy foam for about 5 minutes (so that the sugar completely dissolves). Add the oil at room temperature and stir everything until smooth.
Step 4:
Combine the mixed dry ingredients and egg-butter mixture together. Assemble the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.
Step 5:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. Cover the baking tray with baking paper. Take out the dough and, breaking off a small piece of dough with your hands (somewhere the size of a walnut or optional), roll the ball, spreading it at a distance from each other on a baking sheet - the cookies will spread a little. Cookies are baked quickly for 8-10 minutes. If the dough is not so steep, then it is better to spread it with a spoon.
Step 6:
Remove the finished cookies from the oven, let cool on a baking sheet for a few minutes and put on a dish. Such cookies are suitable for a glass of milk, a cup of coffee or tea.
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
When making this cookie, I made a big mistake. Absent-mindedly, I mixed all the dry ingredients together with sugar, as a result, it did not have time to dissolve in the finished dough and became visible on the surface of the finished cookies, and the cookies themselves turned out to have a loose porous surface. This did not affect the taste and overall consistency of the cookies in any way - the cookies turned out to be soft, delicious, with a rich chocolate flavor. But the appearance turned out to be not presentable at all. Therefore, when making cookies, this nuance must be taken into account, and it is even better to take powdered sugar instead of sugar.
