Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make croissants from yeast-free dough? Prepare the necessary ingredients. If the dough is frozen, take it out in advance. It is better to defrost it gradually in the refrigerator for several hours. So when defrosting, there will be no sharp temperature drop and the dough will retain its properties better. Take good quality chocolate, without artificial additives, preferably dark. With it, the taste of the filling will be more intense.
Step 2:
Roll out the puff pastry thinly into a rectangular layer. Cut the dough into triangles. It is convenient in this case to use the dough rolled up. But I did not manage to acquire such a thing.
Step 3:
Place the chocolate parallel to the base on the wide part of each triangle of dough.
Step 4:
Start twisting the croissant from the wide edge to the narrow one. At the same time, press the dough a little near the filling so that the chocolate does not leak out during baking. Form the croissants carefully so that the edges of the chocolate slices do not tear the dough.
Step 5:
Pinch the tips of each croissant well. Similarly, make croissants from the rest of the dough.
Step 6:
Place the croissants on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 7:
Bake in a preheated 190-200C oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Let the finished baking cool down a little.
Step 8:
It's delicious to serve croissants with chocolate for breakfast with coffee. Enjoy your meal!
Previously, I always took the dough from one manufacturer, but this time it was not on sale. I bought another one and was disappointed. Baking had an unimportant rise. Therefore, always take a proven dough, the quality of which you are sure.
In order for the oven to have time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens!
