Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Making the dough. In warm milk, add yeast and 30 grams of sugar. Let's leave it for 15 minutes. The yeast should disperse. Then add egg, salt, vegetable oil, sour cream (sour cream is not necessary).
Step 2:
Then add flour, it took me 500g. Knead the dough and remove for an hour.
Step 3:
For the stroysel, mix 300g of flour, 100g of sugar and a pack of soft butter. We grind everything with our hands into crumbs. We make small crumbs, but there should also be large lumps.
Step 4:
This is the crumb I got.
Step 5:
The dough has already come up. Roll it out into a layer 1 cm thick. the dough should be thinly rolled out, because the layer should not be too high. I have a sheet 38 by 40 cm.
Step 6:
Transfer it with a rolling pin to a sheet of paper. We do not make bumpers . Prick with a fork.
Step 7:
Now we take any jam, jam. Better with sourness. Usually plum or apple is used. I have apricot. A thin layer.
Step 8:
And sprinkle with crumbs. Turn on the oven at 200 degrees. While the oven is heating up, the pie will do a little. Put it in the oven for 25 minutes.
Step 9:
Cook's pie is ready. The edges of the dough should be browned and the top remains light. I covered it with baking paper and a dry towel. So it should stand, cool down. The pie will be soft. Cut into cubes. We store it also covered with a towel. Well, very tasty. It is not possible to break away. Enjoy your meal.
My husband, from a German family who lived in Russia. My mother-in-law often made such a pie and they called it Kuha. It was well, a very delicious pie. Now I want to share it with you.We have a similar recipe, but we do it with shortbread dough, here comes yeast. Kefir and milk are suitable for the dough. I added more sour cream. Streusel was made from melted butter, well, we can take ordinary butter or margarine. The whole highlight is in this sprinkling, streusel. It is extremely delicious. The Germans sprinkle sugar on top of the already ready pie. But I mixed it right into the oil. You can do that too. So, let's try to do it!
