    Knead elastic and smooth dough, you do not need to knead the shortbread dough with your hands for a long time, otherwise it will be tight, and the products from it will be hard. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

    While the dough is "resting", we will prepare the filling for the pie. Cranberries have a sour taste, so that the filling as a whole is moderately sour, you need to add apples of sweet varieties. If the apples have a hard skin, then it is better to remove it, cut out the seed box. Cut the apple pulp into small pieces or slices.

    We take the "rested" dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into two parts, roll out a larger piece of dough into a layer about 0.5 cm thick, according to the size of the cake pan. Grease the baking dish with butter, spread the dough into it, forming small sides.
