Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a turkey with champignons? Prepare the ingredients. For cooking, we will need: turkey fillet (from breast or thigh), mushrooms, garlic, sour cream, meat broth (I have chicken), vegetable oil, butter, ground black pepper and salt.
Step 2:
Wash the turkey fillet, dry it and cut into medium pieces. You can take breast fillet or meat from the thigh.
Step 3:
Wash and dry the mushrooms. Cut large mushrooms into quarters, medium – in half, and small ones can be left like this.
Step 4:
Dilute sour cream with water, add spices and mix.
Step 5:
Put the turkey meat and mushrooms in a greased baking dish.
Step 6:
Pour the meat with mushrooms with diluted sour cream. Place the mold in a preheated 180 ° C oven for about 40 minutes.
Step 7:
Remove the turkey from the oven and place it on plates. Serve the dish hot with any side dish, for example, with mashed potatoes or rice. Enjoy your meal!
Turkey meat is considered one of the most dietary. Turkey meat is a low-calorie product. The energy value depends not only on the cooking method, but also on the part from where it was cut. The least calories are contained in the breast.
However, turkey meat is valued not only for its low calorie content, but also for its rich composition. Turkey meat is rich in vitamins (B6, B2, B12, PP) and minerals. Poultry meat has a high content of phosphorus (according to this substance, turkey meat is equated to fish), sodium (surpasses even veal in this indicator), iron (turkey meat contains Fe several times more than chicken and 2 times more than beef). Among other things, magnesium, selenium, calcium, potassium, sulfur, iodine, and manganese were found in the meat.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
Instead of champignons, you can take dried mushrooms (they will need 5-6 times less than fresh ones). Do not forget to rinse them and then soak them before cooking (for about 2-3 hours).
Note that the quality and taste of the finished dish largely depends on the proper defrosting of the ingredients. How to avoid mistakes and choose the best way, read the article about defrosting.
