Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the cookies. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl. If the cottage cheese is coarse, it is better to grind it through a sieve or grind it with a blender. Beat in a chicken egg, add sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla. Again, we grind the ingredients with a blender until a homogeneous curd mass is obtained.
Step 2:
Add butter softened at room temperature. If desired, butter can be replaced with margarine, it will not taste worse, but butter is still healthier than margarine. Once again, scroll the mass with a blender so that it becomes homogeneous.
Step 3:
Add baking powder and sifted wheat flour to the bowl with the curd mass. We knead the dough with a spoon, when the dough begins to gather into a lump, spread it on the work surface covered with flour and continue kneading the dough, if necessary, adding a little flour.
Step 4:
It is not necessary to knead the dough for a long time so that the cookies do not turn out hard and tight. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 5:
After the specified time, we take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it into a thin layer about 0.3 centimeters thick.
Step 6:
With a glass and a special cookie cutter, we cut out circles from the dough.
Step 7:
Pour sugar and cinnamon into a plate, mix the ingredients. Who does not like cinnamon, can not add it, or replace it with cocoa powder. It will turn out delicious in any case. We roll each circle on one side in the resulting mixture. We fold the circle with the sprinkles in half and dip one side of the cookie into the sugar mixture. We fold it in half again. And again dip in sugar with the upper side.
Step 8:
On a greased baking sheet, we spread the blanks from the curd dough. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake cookies for about 25 minutes. We remove the cookies from the baking sheet, let them cool down a little and serve them to the table with tea, coffee or cocoa. Have a nice tea party!
