Step 1:
Let's focus on the recipe for a simple shortbread honey cake with a layer of jam. This simple delicacy is prepared very quickly, but it turns out delicious and tender. In a deep bowl, pour the sifted wheat flour.
Step 2:
Add sugar, liquid honey (if you are not allergic to honey), a pinch of salt. Mix the ingredients.
Step 3:
We send the softened and chopped margarine with vegetable fats into a bowl. Add baking powder or soda, quenched by a bite (half a teaspoon of soda, half a teaspoon of vinegar).
Step 4:
Mix the mass until an elastic smooth dough is obtained. We wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 5:
Take out the dough, divide it into four parts. We roll out each piece into a thin rectangular layer, no more than 0.5 centimeters thick. Each layer of dough is baked in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 6:
Remove the cakes from the baking sheet, let it cool down a little, make smooth edges, cut off the irregularities. From the remains of the baked dough, we make crumbs for sprinkling.
Step 7:
Lubricate the cooled cakes with any thick jam, stack them.
Step 8:
Apply a thin layer of jam on top and sprinkle with sand crumbs. The cake is ready. We put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that the cakes are soaked.
Step 9:
Serve the treat to the table with tea, coffee or cocoa. Enjoy your meal!
