Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Preparing the ingredients. If candied honey is used, you need to melt it in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Butter for this recipe also needs softened, so we take it out of the refrigerator in advance, or melt it a little. The milk should be warm, about 30 degrees.
Step 2:
This recipe is interesting because, unlike the classic one with sourdough, we start cooking the dough with dry ingredients. In a deep bowl, sift the flour, add salt and instant yeast. Mix the ingredients well.
Step 3:
Pour honey, milk and softened butter into the dry mixture.
Step 4:
Mix well and knead the dough, it should turn out elastic, slightly sticky to the hands. We leave it in the same bowl in a warm place, covered with a towel on top, for at least an hour, ideally for two.
Step 5:
When the dough rises, we crumble it and begin to form loaves. Roll out the dough into a sausage on the podmuchnennoy surface
Step 6:
And cut into 8 identical pieces.
Step 7:
From each piece we form a miniature bar, roll it well in flour
Step 8:
And spread on a baking sheet, leaving a space between them. You do not need to lubricate the baking sheet with oil.
Step 9:
Put the bread preparation in a warm place for half an hour. During this time, the loaves will increase in size. On each we make a shallow incision with a knife. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the loaves for 30 minutes, but you need to focus on the operation of the oven. The loaves should be well browned.
Step 10:
We take the loaves out of the oven, cool them or serve them hot to the table. They are delicious both as sweet pastries with milk, and as a base for spicy snacks, for example, garlic, and soup. Bon appetit!
