Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
For cooking fish on the barbecue, we will need freshly frozen mackerel, for marinating fish we will take mayonnaise and soy sauce, and for sprinkling salt, spices and sesame. Defrost the mackerel.
Step 2:
Mix the dry ingredients: salt, spices and sesame.
Step 3:
Also combine mayonnaise and soy sauce, mix well.
Step 4:
We cut the fish along the abdomen, gut it, remove the head, tail and fins. We cut each carcass lengthwise, open it, leave the ridge.
Step 5:
Sprinkle the fish inside with a mixture of salt, spices and sesame seeds.
Step 6:
Lubricate the fish inside with prepared mayonnaise marinade.
Step 7:
We fold the fish in half so that the sauce remains inside.
Step 8:
Put the fish in a container and also lubricate the sauce on top and sprinkle with a dry mixture. The container with pickled fish carcasses is closed and left in a cold place to be marinated for at least an hour.
Step 9:
We unwrap the pickled fish and put it on the grill. The remains of the marinade are applied to the fish. We put the fish grill on the pallet.
Step 10:
Place the fish grill in a hot oven and cook at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 11:
After 20 minutes, we turn the fish over to the other side.
Step 12:
We cook the barbecue fish for another 10 minutes to turn brown on the other side.
Step 13:
We carefully remove the finished hot barbecue fish from the grill and transfer it to the dish. We serve barbecue fish in a marinade hot on the table.
