Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Take sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder.
Step 2:
Beat sugar and eggs until frothy.
Step 3:
This can be done with a whisk, fork or mixer, as you prefer.
Step 4:
Add flour with baking powder.
Step 5:
Mix until smooth. Let it stand for a bit - 10 minutes.
Step 6:
Pour the dough into a mold lined with oiled baking paper.
Step 7:
Bake for about half an hour at 180 degrees. At the end, I usually reduce it to 150.
Step 8:
Cool the finished biscuit slightly, remove the paper and cut into portions.
Sponge cake is simple - simple and easy to bake, even an inexperienced hostess can handle it.
