Preparing the ingredients. The butter must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature. Rub the butter with sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. We drive in the egg, mix it. Pour the flour sifted and combined with baking powder. Knead the dough. We roll it into a ball, wrap it in a film and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Then we take the dough out of the freezer, divide it into two parts, one twice as large as the second. Which is more rolled out into a thick layer, it will be the bottom of the pie. We spread the cake in a greased form. Lubricate the jam on top. We roll out the second part of the dough into a thin layer and carefully cover the jam with it, making small sides so that the jam does not leak out. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25 minutes. Take out, cool, cut into portions.
Served with tea, cocoa or coffee.
