Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the cake. Let's start with a biscuit. For a small cake for a family of three, a biscuit made from two large chicken eggs is enough. We drive chilled chicken eggs into the blender bowl.
Step 2:
Add sugar and whisk the ingredients with a blender or mixer until a thick white foam forms.
Step 3:
Then add a pinch of vanilla, baking powder and sifted wheat flour to the egg mixture.
Step 4:
Gently mix the ingredients with a spoon or whisk so that the foam does not settle. The dough is ready. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 5:
Cover the baking sheet with parchment. Lubricate it with butter. Pour the dough onto the parchment, evenly distribute it over the surface of the sheet so that the dough does not reach the edges. Bake the biscuit for about 30 minutes, focusing on the work of your oven and the size of the biscuit. We check the readiness with a wooden toothpick, it should be dry at the exit.
Step 6:
Take the finished biscuit out of the oven, let it cool down a little right on the parchment. Carefully cut out a circle from the biscuit on a plate of the desired size. The remaining dough is cut into small pieces of arbitrary shape.
Step 7:
Preparing the cream for the cake. Put thick cream or sour cream in a deep bowl. Add sugar and vanilla.
Step 8:
Beat with a mixer or blender until a thick foam forms. Let the cream cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Step 9:
Spread the sponge cake on a plate, lubricate it with cream.
Step 10:
We dip the pieces of sponge cake into a bowl with cream and spread them on a circle of sponge cake to make a slide.
Step 11:
We clean the walnuts, wash them, dry them in the microwave or in a dry frying pan, put them in a bag and grind them into large crumbs with a rolling pin.
Step 12:
Sprinkle walnuts on top of the cake.
Step 13:
Break milk chocolate into pieces, put it in a metal dish, pour in milk. Melt the chocolate, stirring constantly, in a water bath or over low heat to get a homogeneous glaze consistency.
Step 14:
Let the glaze cool down a little and pour it over the cake. If desired, you can decorate the cake with fresh strawberries.
Step 15:
We put the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so that it gets soaked. Have a nice tea party!
