Step 1:
It is better to prepare mastic parts in advance, for example, a day in advance. This way they will dry out and keep their shape better. For the face of the train, it is necessary to cut two circles and roll three balls - the nose and cheeks. Place the balls in their places on the circle of the face, and make indentations in place of the eyes.
Step 2:
On the second circle, make depressions in the same place as the eyes and deepen a little under the cheeks. Lay the second circle of the face on top of the first.
Step 3:
Smooth out well and neatly.
Step 4:
Outline the mouth.
Step 5:
Make eyes, mouth and eyebrows out of mastic and put everything in its place. Glue the edge with a strip of mastic.
Step 6:
For wheels, cut 6 circles out of mastic.
Step 7:
Also cut out 6 wheel rims from mastic.
Step 8:
Cut thin strips and paste them on the wheel circle in the form of spokes.
Step 9:
Trim the intersection of the strips.

Glue the middle and rim of the wheel.

Make a whistle and a chimney of a steam train out of mastic.

Bake a biscuit. Allow to cool. Cut lengthwise into two parts.

Cut the blanks 23 by 17 cm from the biscuit .

Roll out a mastic pancake of sufficient size. Cover the train with mastic and smooth it well on all bends and corners.

Glue the face and trim elements of the front of the train.

At the base along the entire perimeter of the train, first glue a black strip of mastic, above it a red one.

Stick 4 red stripes on top of the engine cylinder.

Cut two holes in the cylinder from above for the pipe and whistle.
