Beat softened butter with a mixer, gradually adding sugar and vanilla. Then add the eggs, also continuing to beat.

Next in the dough are flour and soda, slaked with vinegar or citric acid (which is previously dissolved in water).
Step 4:
The dough turns out to be quite thick, it does not spread.
Step 5:
Lubricate the prepared form with oil and spread the resulting dough, leveling it with a spoon. I used a mold with a diameter of 24 cm.
Step 6:
The next step is to spread the cherry berries from the jam. We put it in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. We check the readiness of the pie with a wooden skewer, a toothpick or the tip of a dry knife.
Step 7:
During the baking process, the pie will rise, and the berries will be distributed down and in the middle of the pie. The finished cake is left to cool, then removed from the mold. The cherry jam pie is ready. Have a nice tea party!
