How to make a cottage cheese casserole according to Dukan? It is not difficult to prepare a casserole, the main thing is to follow the rules of the diet: the absence of animal or vegetable fats (that is, cottage cheese should be exclusively fat-free), as well as the absence of sugar in the composition. Sugar can be replaced with any sweetener, putting it to taste.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish. It is better if it is detachable or silicone - then it will be easier to take out the finished casserole. The mold can be lined with baking parchment.

For cottage cheese casserole according to Ducane, choose low-fat cottage cheese. Rub the fresh cottage cheese through a sieve or stir thoroughly with a whisk (fork) so that no large lumps remain. Send the cottage cheese prepared in this way to the blender bowl or to the container where we will cook.

Add wheat bran to the bowl of a blender to the mashed cottage cheese. Free the chicken eggs from the shell and pour them into the main products. To harmonize the taste, add the desired amount of sweetener to the mass and add a little salt. Salt most fully reveals the taste qualities of all components.

In order for the casserole to rise noticeably in volume, add baking powder to the main products for the dough. It can be replaced with baking soda, slaked in vinegar.

Mix all prepared products thoroughly with a mixer at low speed or manually with a conventional whisk (spatula). Continue to mix thoroughly until the mass becomes homogeneous throughout the thickness. Put the curd dough in a baking dish, gently level the surface.

Put the mold in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes until an appetizing golden crust appears on the surface. Turn off the oven and soak the casserole for another 15 minutes.

Serve the finished cottage cheese casserole alone or in combination with low-fat yogurt as a sauce.

Bon appetit!

Important! In order for the curd dough or filling to be successful, it is important to carefully consider the choice of cottage cheese. How to bake a lush and tender casserole? Do not expect the same increase in volume from the curd mass, as, for example, in a yeast cake or sponge cake. The splendor of the curd casserole directly depends on the size of the chosen shape: the smaller the shape and the higher the sides, the higher the layer of curd mass for baking will turn out, which means the finished casserole will be higher.
