Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make muffins from dough with butter and vegetable oil? Preheat the milk to a warm state. Pour in yeast, salt, sugar, vanilla, egg. Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. Mix it up. Pour in vegetable and melted butter. How to melt butter? A detailed description can be found at the end of the recipe.
Step 2:
Mix everything again. Sift the flour directly into a bowl. It is important to do this in order to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well when baking.
Step 3:
Add it gradually, patiently kneading the dough. It should become very pliable, but not sticking to the hands. The kneading will take about 15 minutes. Put it in a bowl, sprinkle it with flour. And cover with a towel. Remove the bowl with the dough to a warm place to rise for an hour and a half. In the heat, the dough should double in size.
Step 4:
Put the dough on a surface dusted with flour. Roll it into a roller.
Step 5:
Then divide this roller into pieces equal in weight.
Step 6:
How to shape buns? You can roll them into regular balls. If you want buns of a non-traditional shape, then roll them out, folding them several times with an envelope. And then, wrapping the dough on the sides in length, roll up such a nice blank.
Step 7:
Let these blanks come up again for 15 minutes, transferring them to a baking sheet greased with oil. Turn the oven on 180°C.
Step 8:
Using a cooking brush, lubricate the surface of the buns with a mixture of one yolk and water. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
Step 9:
Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
If you want unsweetened buns, put 1-2 tablespoons of sugar in the dough.
Ready-made buns can be covered with a clean towel, then they will become even softer and more tender.
Butter can be melted in the microwave in the appropriate mode (read the instructions for your device) or in a water bath. How to melt butter in a water bath? You will need two containers of different diameters. Pour water into a large one and put it on the stove. Place the smaller container on top so that it is submerged in water by about half. Put the sliced butter into it. Under the influence of boiling water, the oil will begin to melt. Stir the oil slightly to speed up the process. As soon as the pieces of oil are completely dissolved, remove the container from the stove.
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
