Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Wash the duck.
Step 2:
Season and mix well.
Step 3:
Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.
Step 4:
Add the onion to the meat and mix.
Step 5:
Mix water with vinegar and pour over the meat. Stir and leave for 30 minutes.
Step 6:
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the duck on both sides. It is better to do it quickly and over high heat so that the meat remains juicy.
Step 7:
While the duck is frying, wash and slice the apples into slices, removing the middle.
Step 8:
When the duck has turned golden, put the onion on it, reduce the heat and cook until the onion is soft. If you appreciate juicy meat, put the onion on the bottom, and meat on top of it.
Step 9:
Put half of the apples in an oven dish lined with foil.
Step 10:
Put the onion and meat in the next layer and put the rest of the apples on top. Cover everything well with foil.
Step 11:
Cook for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees, then unwrap and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 12:
And it can be served as an independent dish with fresh bread, cheese and wine, or in a duet with a side dish and salad.
