Turkey is the perfect meat for everyone. It is dietary, in comparison with pork, and is suitable even for people suffering from allergies, to whom such a popular chicken is contraindicated. The low calorie content allows you to eat this dish even during a late dinner, without worrying that the figure may deteriorate.
Remove the fillet from the turkey breast. This will speed up the cooking process and eliminate the cutting of bones already in the process of serving. Cut the fillet from the breast, rinse it with running water and dry it with a paper towel.
Honey not only gives the meat a special taste, but also creates a special crust, the breast seems to be covered with a delicate, appetizing glaze. Honey should be liquid, if it has already thickened, melt in a water bath or in a microwave oven.
Pour honey into a deep dish and add spices. For a classic performance, standard salt and ground pepper will be enough, the taste of which will slightly shade the thyme. If desired, you can add other favorite herbs or spices. This will diversify and complement the taste.
Mix honey with salt, pepper, finely chopped thyme. The baking sheet is covered with foil, taking into account the fact that it will have to cover the meat completely. We spread the meat on foil, smear it with honey and spices, wipe it well so that the turkey is well soaked.
Wrap the meat in honey and spices in foil, wrap it well so that the juice appearing during baking does not flow out, but impregnates the meat and it turns out to be as tender as it should be.
Bake the turkey breast in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. During this time, the meat will be completely ready, but it will not begin to dry out and lose its softness and tenderness.
Cut the finished turkey breast across the fibers in slices, up to 1 cm wide. We serve it to the table with any kind of side dish or with vegetables.
