Now is the height of the plum season, and if you have 2 or more of these fruit trees, and the family is not very large, then the problem of recycling these fruits rises to its full height. I don't really like to do conservation, I prefer fresh fruit or pastries.
There are many different interesting recipes on the Internet, but they all repeat themselves in some way. Last year I already cooked chocolate cake with plums with walnuts . I really liked it, but the combination of plums and dark chocolate is an eternal classic. This year I found another recipe with plums, also chocolate dough, but a little simplified, with the addition of milk. The cupcake turns out to be porous, soft with a bright chocolate taste.
Plums can be used in a variety of varieties. I have red ones, prunes are also good, as well as yellow plums. It is advisable to take dense fruits, but not green, so that they retain their shape as much as possible when baking. Then the cupcake will have a beautiful relief top.
