Apricot strudel from cottage cheese dough

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

1) Grind cottage cheese with sugar, then add soft butter, stir well. Gradually adding the sifted flour, knead the soft dough, send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that the oil cools down.

2) Divide the cooled dough into 4 parts. Wash the apricots, dry them and cut them into halves, removing the seeds.

3) Roll out thin layers on a floured table, about 0.3 cm thick.

4) Put the halves of apricots on one edge of the layer, sprinkle with starch and sugar.

5) Grease the free place of the cake with egg white, after separating it from the yolk, and sprinkle with the remaining sugar.

6) Form the rolls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7) Bake a strudel of cottage cheese dough with apricot in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Apricot strudels from puff pastry are ready.

When the apricot strudels cool down, cut them into portions. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
