Cooking method
To make it convenient to make notches on potatoes, so as not to accidentally cut the vegetable to the end, you can put a limiter. To do this, put a potato between two wooden chopsticks. When slicing, they will serve as a kind of limiter: the knife will touch them and will not cut the vegetable to the end. If there are no chopsticks, you can take wooden skewers.
1. Wash the potatoes, peel them. If the potatoes are young, they can be scraped with a kitchen scraper.
2. Using a sharp knife, we make deep notches on each potato. The notches should be at a distance of 2-3 millimeters from each other.
3. Place the potatoes in a baking dish with notches to the top. You can also bake on a baking sheet. The main thing is that the potatoes do not lie tightly together.
4. Put the butter in a bowl, melt it in a microwave oven to a liquid state. You can melt it in a water bath, but it will turn out faster in the microwave.
5. Pour olive oil into the melted butter, mix.
6. Wash the parsley, dry it with paper towels. Cut as small as possible. Spread the chopped parsley into a mixture of oils, mix.
7. Pour the resulting sauce over the potatoes, evenly distribute the oil between the notches. To do this, you can use a silicone cooking brush.
8. And now we salt the potatoes. The recipe uses sea salt, but you can take any other.
9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, you can also up to 220 if the technique allows. We send potatoes to the oven, bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Serve hot or warm on the table.
Bon appetit!
