Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Wash the eggs. Break 5 eggs, separate the yolks from the whites of 4 eggs. Leave the yolks, put the whites in the refrigerator. Beat eggs with yolks thoroughly with a fork.
Step 2:
Put the sourdough. Preheat the milk (warm), mix 0.5 cup sugar and 1 cup flour. Leave for 30 minutes in a warm place until the dough rises.
Step 3:
Melt all the butter or margarine. Maybe 50/50.
Step 4:
Mix everything, add salt, vanilla sugar, remaining sugar. Now pour in the rest of the flour and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes until smooth.
Step 5:
The dough should stick and flow smoothly from the hand, slightly thicker than on the cooler. If liquid, add another cup of flour. Leave for 40-60 minutes in a warm place until it increases 2-3 times.
Step 6:
After the first raising of the dough, add the raisins, zest and orange juice and knead again to the primary state.
Step 7:
Leave for another 40-50 min.
Step 8:
When the dough has risen for the second time, fill out the forms. Bake at 250 gr. 20-30 min. Check readiness with a wooden stick.
Step 9:
Beat the whites with sugar until the peaks stand and do not flow when lifting the whisk, add lemon juice. Spread the cooled cakes.
Step 10:
Can be decorated with sprinkles, but they are already very very tasty!
