Softened butter is rubbed with powdered sugar.

Add salt and sifted flour.

Knead the soft dough and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

We spread the cooled dough evenly into a layer in a form with high sides. Bake in preheated to 180 degrees. oven for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6:
While the cake is baking, let's do the filling. For it, we will need one large orange. Remove the zest from it and squeeze out the juice.
Step 7:
Beat eggs with sugar and flour until smooth.
Step 8:
Add the orange juice and zest, whisk until frothy.
Step 9:
Let the finished cake cool down a little (5-10 minutes).
Step 10:
Then pour the filling onto the cake. Put in the oven at 170 degrees. for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 11:
Bake until the filling is compacted. The finished dessert is allowed to cool completely.
Step 12:
Cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Have a nice tea party!
It is advisable to use a square (rectangular) shape so that the dessert can be cut into squares. My shape is too big for so much dough, so I used a round one. If desired, oranges can be replaced with lemons, lemon bars will turn out. Then the amount of sugar in the filling should be slightly increased.
