And since next year is the year of the Horse, it will be in the form of horseshoes. The cookies turn out to be very tender, crumbly and crispy, and it is prepared very easily. And you can prepare such horseshoes in advance. Such horseshoes in a tightly closed container will safely keep their freshness for 1 week.

    I kneaded the dough with a combine. Mix flour, powdered sugar and nuts (for manual kneading, the nuts must be crushed in advance). We mix everything.

    Add diced cold butter and grind to butter crumbs (if you knead by hand, then cut the butter into a small cube and rub it with flour with quick movements, you do not need to achieve uniformity).

    Add vanilla tincture to the butter crumbs (if you take vanilla sugar, then you need to add it together with the powder) and yolks and knead the dough.

    A wet crumb is obtained (if the dough is too dry and does not gather in a lump, add 1-2 tsp of ice water).

    Crumbs are collected in a lump (no need to knead), wrapped in a film and sent to the refrigerator for 1 hour.

    Divide the dough into several parts (while we cut one, all the others are in the refrigerator). We roll out part of the dough into a bundle, cut it, form horseshoes.

    Spread the horseshoes on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven to 180 C for about 12 minutes, until light golden. It is prepared very quickly, so be careful!
