Step-by-step cooking
While autumn is still spoiling us with warm days, seasonal fruits are spiced in the garden, I suggest you try a delicious apple pie with sour cream filling.
Prepare the dough.
Chop the butter with a knife on a cutting board and put it in a bowl.
Sift the flour and mix with baking powder.
Add sugar, vanilla, a pinch of salt, cottage cheese and flour mixed with baking powder to the butter.
Mix everything and knead the dough.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Next, we will prepare the apple filling.
Raisins are washed, dried and poured with 2 tablespoons of cognac.
Apples are mine. Each apple is cut into 4 parts, cut out the middle with seeds and sprinkle with lemon juice so that the apples do not darken.
We debug 6-7 quarters aside - we use them to decorate the cake. On each quarter, we will make several cuts without cutting through - in the process of cooking, the slices will open in the form of a fan.
Cut the rest of the apples into small cubes, put them in a saucepan, pour sugar, pour lemon juice (~ 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice, depending on the acid of the apples - the sourer the apples, the less juice).
Cover the saucepan with apples and simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, ~10 minutes or until the apples are soft.
We take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it out a little and lay out the bottom and sides of the mold, forming small sides.
We put the form with the dough in a heated to ~180-190 °Remove from the oven and bake for ~ 10-12 minutes.
Prepare sour cream and egg filling.
Put sour cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla in a bowl, add starch and stir well until smooth.
Remove the form with the dough from the oven.
We put apples over the entire surface of the dough and sprinkle with raisins.
Decorate with apple quarters.
Fill the pie with sour cream and egg filling.
Bake in a heated oven to ~200 °In the oven for ~ 20-25 minutes.
The finished cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or coconut chips.
Bon appetit!!!
