Preparing the dough:
Dissolve yeast in warm milk, add a teaspoon of sugar and 4 tablespoons of flour. Put in a warm place for 15 minutes. Then add the remaining sugar, a pinch of salt, egg and flour. Knead the dough and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes.
Nut filling:
Boil milk with sugar and cinnamon, add ground nuts. Mix well. Cool and add the protein.
Poppy seed filling:
Boil milk with sugar, vanilla sugar and add poppy seeds, boil, add semolina and cook for 2-3 minutes. Cool.
Cooking plaits:
Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out into layers of 30 by 40 cm . Lubricate one layer with nut filling, the second with poppy seed. Roll into rolls. Cut each roll lengthwise. Weave two strips and put one braid in a round shape first, then another on top. Bake for about 45 minutes.
