Step-by-step cooking
Heat milk, dissolve yeast in it, mix with 50g flour, 1h.l. sugar. Cover and put in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Add 75g of sugar, a pinch of salt, melted butter, eggs and flour to the sourdough. Knead a soft dough. Cover and put in a warm place for 45 minutes.
Knead the dough well again and roll out into a plate approximately 45 by 50cm. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar first, put the cherries, you can fresh, canned or frozen. Then sprinkle with sugar to taste. Roll the dough not very tightly into a roll. Cut it into 12 pieces.
Heat the oven to 170 degrees.
Put the pieces of the roll in a greased split mold. You can lubricate the yolk whipped with milk.
Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Remove from the mold, let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
