Cooking method
Cabbage pies are a great way to gather the household at the table. Let's go back to grandma's cooking recipes, which always give off a sense of comfort and warmth. The cooking time is relatively short, and to keep it always fresh and soft, cover it with a cotton napkin.
We prepare the dough: in warm water, knead live yeast, add ½ tsp sugar and 1 tablespoon flour. We mix everything well and put it in a warm place.
For the filling, we fry the chopped cabbage and onions in a frying pan, add garlic and spices.
For the dough, rub the eggs with sugar and salt, pour in warm milk, put sour cream and add our sourdough. Mix everything, add mustard vegetable oil and flour and knead the dough, as for thick pancakes. Cover the dough and wait until it fits. As soon as the dough has come up, add vanilla sugar, pre-melted butter or margarine, flour. Knead the dough until it does not lag behind the hands, but not very tight.
We divide the finished dough into equal parts, make tortillas out of them, put the filling inside and pinch the edges. We spread the molded pies on a baking sheet pre-greased with vegetable oil. When the pies come up a little, lubricate the top with milk and sugar.
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at a temperature of 220 ° C.
