Most often, bread spoils in my kitchen. It just so happened in our family that there is either a shortage of it, or there is so much of it that we do not have time to eat it. Now I will share with you the subtleties of cooking - A casserole of black bread, which is also a dish of Latvian cuisine. To begin with, we grind the stale black bread on a medium grater, mix with part of the sugar and cinnamon. Next, peel the apples, remove the middle, cut into slices. We take the mold, lubricate it with oil, put it in successive layers: bread, then put pieces of butter on top, then put slices of apples, sprinkle with sugar, put bread again, butter on top, then apples again, etc. With the top layer we put bread. Pour the whole mass of egg-milk mixture on top and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
