Cooking honey cake in Krakow will not take you much time. But you will need to wait a little after you bake it: for two or three days, the honey cake should be kept in the refrigerator so that the cakes are saturated with cream and become even tastier and more tender.

First prepare the dough. You need to melt honey, add soda to it, and then - sugar, butter and flour. Mix everything thoroughly. To make a nut mass, we will take nuts, butter and honey and put it on the fire. This mass should be cooked, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into two parts and pour into molds, and put the nut mass on top. Honey cake is baked at a temperature of 170 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. While he's baking, let's make a cream.

To do this, dissolve sugar in milk and bring it to a boil. Flour, stirred in a small amount of cold milk, pour a thin stream into hot milk and cook until a thick cream. Put butter in the cooled cream and add vodka (if children eat honey cake, then you can do without vodka!).

We connect the finished cakes with cream, wrap them with plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for 24 hours. You can hold it longer if you can resist trying the delicate honey cake that melts in your mouth!
