Cooking method
Before the main stage of cooking, peel the onion. Wash the new potatoes thoroughly (you do not need to peel them).
Next, you need to cut large chunks of fat from the nutria carcass, and divide the carcass itself into portions. Finely chop the cut fat, and marinate the nutria meat for a few minutes in salt, a mixture of peppers and sour cream.
Having set the oven to warm up to 180 degrees, you can start forming the dish.
Put pieces of fat on the bottom of a baking sheet generously greased with sunflower oil and cover with chopped onion rings, which must be peppered and salted.
Put the prepared new potatoes on the onion, and on top of it - pieces of prepared nutria meat.
Bake the roast in the oven for 2-2.5 hours, periodically checking the degree of readiness so as not to over-dry the tender nutria meat. The cooking temperature is 180 degrees.
Serve the nutria roast on the table hot with your favorite sauce and vegetables.
Bon appetit!
