To cook mannik on sour cream according to this recipe, we mix sour cream with part of the sugar and semolina, and leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes to infuse. This is a mandatory procedure in which semolina will swell and sugar will dissolve. If the semolina does not swell, then it will settle when baking. Then mix the eggs with sugar and rub thoroughly. To the egg mixture, add sour cream with semolina, salt to taste, flour and soda. All these ingredients are thoroughly mixed. The dough turns out a little thicker than for ordinary pancakes. Grease the frying pan with oil, pour the dough into it and put it in a preheated 180 degree oven. Since mannik is baked like a regular casserole, we keep it a little longer (40-45 minutes) and at a low temperature. We do not pull the mannikin out of the oven immediately and wait until it cools down. And at this time, we will prepare the glaze: Break the chocolate bar into pieces and put it in a small saucepan, add sugar and butter. In another larger saucepan, boil water and put a small one on it. Stir the chocolate mass continuously until they form a homogeneous liquid mass. Then pour the icing over the cooled mannikin, let it cool down. We serve this wonderful meal with tea or coffee. Bon appetit!
