Step 1:
How to make dumplings in the microwave? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. You can use any dumplings: homemade, pre-cooked and frozen for the future, or semi-finished products purchased in the store. I took store-bought meat dumplings. You can change the set of spices depending on your taste preferences. Boil water in a kettle, then the cooking process will speed up at times.
Step 2:
Dumplings do not need to be defrosted in advance. For cooking dumplings in a microwave oven, it is better to use a clay pot or other high fireproof dishes so that the broth does not splash out during boiling. For a greater probability of keeping your microwave oven clean, it is better to put a pot of dumplings on a plate. Pour the dumplings in the pot immediately with hot water.
Step 3:
You can increase the amount of water depending on which dish the dumplings will be served (second or hot in a pot with broth). Add salt to taste, if desired, you can add any other spices. I put a bay leaf, I always add it when cooking meat dumplings to muffle the specific taste of pork and beef in the dish. Put the pot in the microwave.
Step 4:
Set the power to at least 900 and an approximate time of 5-8 minutes. You will have to focus on your technique and determine the time yourself. Additionally, divide it into two cooking sessions to control the process of cooking dumplings and avoid rapid boiling of the broth.
Step 5:
Remove the dumplings from the broth with a slotted spoon, serve with mayonnaise, sour cream or other sauce, sprinkled with chopped fresh herbs. A very fast way of cooking dumplings, unfortunately, has one disadvantage. You can cook only one serving at a time, so for a large family it is still better to use the classic way - cooking dumplings on the stove. Enjoy your meal!
