Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 5 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary products. To prepare poached eggs, we will, of course, need an egg. Take homemade eggs, preferably larger. Before using, check the egg for freshness: lower the egg into a container with water at room temperature - the fresh egg will sink to the bottom, and the stale one will rise to the top. Vinegar will suit any 6-9%: apple, grape, and ordinary without additives will do.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

We will need ordinary water, preferably filtered, because we will cook the egg without the shell directly in this water, so tap water will not work. Pour water into a container suitable for use in a microwave oven (such dishes should in no case contain metal parts, as well as drawings with sequins - they will sparkle. Also, the dishes should be deep enough. Add vinegar to the water and stir.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Mix with a spoon or fork, or something else in a circle. Quickly enough, trying to create something like a whirlpool - funnel in the center.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the egg very well, it's best to even use a special brush. Carefully beat in the egg, be sure to keep the yolk intact.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put it in the microwave. Approximate cooking time: for a power of 1000 and above, 40 seconds will be enough, 800 - 1 minute, 600 - 1.5 minutes. I advise you to experiment with your device, because despite the simplicity of this recipe, the cooking time of the dish depends on the specific model of the microwave, and on the number of cups (products) in it. If the process goes too fast, the egg may "explode" so the microwave will have to be washed.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

This is what a finished egg looks like after a microwave oven. Caution: do not burn your hands when taking the dishes out of the microwave - it can be very hot!

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the egg on a serving plate and only now add salt to taste.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Serve the egg with fresh vegetables and herbs. It is also very appropriate to add such an egg to a vegetable salad, thus decorating it. Or put it on top of a meat steak or a slice of bread. Bon appetit!

A poached egg is something like a boiled soft-boiled egg, only cooked not in the shell, but in water.
This dish is great to serve for breakfast or as an addition to other main dishes and salads.
Bon appetit!
