Cooking method
For all sweet tooths, Azerbaijani cuisine offers a large amount of delicious and original food. Today we offer you to try to cook shekerbura – this is a culinary recipe for a very tasty Azerbaijani sweet.
So, knead the dough and put it in a warm place so that it fits a little. Then we prepare the filling. It is desirable to make the filling from hazelnuts, but you can replace it with another type of nuts. Fry the nuts, peel them so that the filling is light. Cardamom is crushed with a coffee grinder. Then mix the nuts and cardamom and add granulated sugar. Next, we divide the dough into identical balls, add the filling there. The products are obtained in the form of pies, the edges of which are twisted from above and below, and we apply a pattern with a special tool - a makkash. If you do not have such a tool, then do not worry, you can decorate the sweetness with any suitable device. Then we send the pies to the microwave. Make sure that the products are not fried on top, the shekerbur should be white.
Ready-made shekerburu can be sprinkled with powdered sugar on top. It's worth a try!
