Cooking method
1. Wash the chicken, lightly dry it with a paper towel. If the breast is large, cut in half. We leave the small ones entirely. Rub the meat on all sides with salt. If desired, you can add spices.
2. Pour water into the slow cooker. It needs so much that there is about 5 cm from the bottom of the slow cooker. The water must be clean and fresh.
3. Lemon is thoroughly washed with a sponge under warm water and cut in half. We put one half aside. Cut the second half of the lemon into circles and throw them into the water poured into the bowl of the slow cooker. We also pour a mixture of Provencal herbs there. This is necessary in order for the steam to be fragrant and impregnate the chicken meat. This will add sophistication to the dish.
4. We install a steam grill, lubricate it with a small amount of olive oil so that the meat does not stick during cooking. In principle, if you want to do without added fats in a ready-made dish, you can not use oil.
5. We put the meat on the grill, close the multivark with a lid.
6. We set the program "Steam" ("For a couple"), we set the time - 35 minutes. This time will be enough for the meat to cook.
7. We are waiting for the sound signal, let the chicken stand in the slow cooker for another 5 minutes. After we remove the chicken from the slow cooker, cut it into slices and put it on serving plates. Pour the finished chicken on top with the juice from the remaining half of the lemon (optional).
8. We serve the chicken to the table with any side dish to your taste - rice, buckwheat or other cereals. Steamed chicken is perfectly combined with boiled or fresh vegetables. You can also add fresh herbs.
