Cooking method
Prepare rice for sushi and rolls:
Wash the rice well. Fill with water in a one-to-one ratio. We put a pot of rice on the fire under the lid. After boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer for 15 minutes. We do not recommend opening the lid at the same time.
While the rice is cooking, we will prepare the dressing. To do this, take rice vinegar and mix it well with sugar and salt.
Fill the finished rice with vinegar mixture and mix. Close the lid, leave to infuse for 15 minutes.
Let's move on to cooking the dish.
We wet our hands in water. We begin to form our balls. To do this, put a spoonful of rice in your hand. Add cottage cheese, shrimp. Cover the top with rice and form balls. It is better not to save on the amount of filling.
Shake the egg.
Dip the ball into the egg, then into the breadcrumbs. Fry in a preheated frying pan with plenty of oil until golden brown. Fry the balls can also be deep-fried. Serve the balls with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi.
Rice balls are ready!
Bon appetit!
