Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 30 min

1. Peel the onion, cut it into rings (it is not necessary to make too thin rings, otherwise they will deform during cooking, let the thickness be about 0.5 cm).

2. Pour kefir into a bowl, add salt and pepper, then put onion rings in it. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

3. In a separate container, break the egg, pour in the milk, add salt, whisk with a whisk. In the resulting mass, we gradually introduce flour, corn starch, all the time vigorously whisk the mass with a whisk. Enrich the batter with red pepper, oregano and garlic powder, mix. The batter should be very thick. If the mass still turned out to be runny, thicken it with corn starch.

4. In one bowl we pour breadcrumbs, in the other - flour. Dip the onion ring in flour, then in batter, then in breadcrumbs.

5. Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan, heat it up to about 190 degrees and fry the prepared onion rings in it for 1 minute on each side.

6. We spread the finished snack on a paper napkin for a couple of minutes so that excess fat is absorbed, we serve the loan on the table.

Now you will be able to fully enjoy a delicious dish)
