Cooking method
Break the egg into a bowl, pour sugar and salt, beat with a mixer until fluffy. Here we pour cognac and kefir, and also sift flour. Knead the dough. The dough should be soft, not tight, not sticky to the hands. We leave it for a while, covering it with a napkin or wrapping it in food wrap.
After half an hour we proceed to the formation of brushwood:
- roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut into strips, which, in turn, we divide across into 2 parts;
- in each rectangle in the center we make an incision through which we turn out one end of the cookie.
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan or into a saucepan and fry the brushwood on both sides until it is ruddy (there should be so much oil in the dishes that it completely covers the workpiece).
Sprinkle the finished brushwood with powdered sugar, cool and serve to the table.
Have a nice tea party!
