Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the products according to the list.
Step 2:
For this recipe, it is better to take sour-sweet and juicy apples. I have green ones - they fit perfectly. I wash the apples, peel them, divide them into four parts and remove the core.
Step 3:
Grate the prepared apples on a coarse grater. You can rub them just before throwing them into the dough so that they do not darken, or you can lightly sprinkle them with lemon juice and mix.
Step 4:
Sift wheat flour into a deep bowl, make a recess.
Step 5:
Pour milk into a saucepan, put it on the stove and warm it up. Remove the milk from the stove and add water, it turns out a warm mixture of water and milk, add an egg, a pinch of salt. We interrupt everything well with a whisk until it is homogeneous.
Step 6:
Pour the resulting liquid mixture into the prepared well in the flour mass, stirring continuously. We also send the grated apples there and mix well again. The dough should be of medium density. Cover it with a damp cloth or lid and leave it for one hour to rest.
Step 7:
After the allotted time, we put the frying pan on the stove on a high heat, heat up the refined vegetable oil, as soon as it boils, reduce the heat to medium. Spread the finished dough in a frying pan with a wooden spoon, in small portions and fry until browned and fully cooked on all sides. We take it out with a slotted spoon or a special iron strainer. We use all the dough. Sprinkle the finished donuts with powdered sugar to improve the taste.
These apple sweet donuts will appeal not only to children, but also to adults. They are very soft, sweet and airy. This culinary recipe from Hungarian cuisine always pleases my guests and children. And all the women who try this food, be sure to ask me for a recipe for their culinary piggy bank. Try it and you, I hope you will like the dish and you will cook it periodically. It tastes better hot, like all pastries. Bon appetit to you and your family!
